Training and Usability Study

Opus recently developed a training experience for users complete with skin-like surrogate material to allow users to practice with actual SubQ It! fasteners. The training was validated with 20 surgeons. Their performance was near-perfect and the best thing about working with the surrogate material was that users could remove it from the holder, turn it over and examine their handiwork.

Seeing how the fasteners straighten and hold the incision together by tension helped everyone understand how SubQ It! works.
